Digital Footprint / Digital Citizenship
A Digital Footprint is something that you leave when you visit any website. Anyone in the world can see where you have been. It also can appear many years later. A digital Footprint is close to just being a trail, it follows every where u go and it's like walking around with paint on the bottom of your shoes, anybody can follow it
Digital Citizenship is being a good person online. Like not lying when you fill out on online contract for a social networking site or a special gaming site. Digital Citizenship also has to do with privacy, you should respect others privacy. You can also have good digital citizenship by trying to help others with problems of their own online.
An example of positive citizenship would be, you tried to log on to your favorite social networking site and when you typed in your user name and password, it logged you on to another persons account. What should you do? Should you stay logged on and mess around for a little while? Or should you log off and try to log on to your account one more time? Say you logged off and logged on to your account. That would be an example of good citizenship.
An example of negative citizenship would be, You were texting to your friend jeff and then nathan, your other friend texted you. It was a forward about jeff and it had some very bad things in it. Jeff was your best friend since first grade and you don't want to hurt him, so what do you do? Should yo forward it again and hurt your best friend, or should you delete it an tell Nathan to stop sending that? Say you send it on and keep talking to Jeff. That would be an example of negative citizenship.

After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
Hi, my name is Gabe. I'm 13 years old in 7th grade at Anamosa Middle School. People say I am funny but i don't really think so. I'm am a complete car guy, I just love them. I am very social and like to play online video games with other people. I like to play Baseball,Cross Country and my favorite sport Basketball. My favorite season is winter because I get to play my favorite sport with all my friends on my team and I get to go snowboarding and christmas is in the season too.
